Why use promotional items:
  • Promotional items are the instrument in your communications mix, which creates a permanent presence with and helps you keep in touch with the customer.
  • They are an excellent complement and aid to the conventional communication and sales techniques/measures.
  • Promotional items rank much higher than conventional advertising and promotional methods, especially television, in terms of acceptance.
  • A majority of the customers are glad to receive promotional items. They rate the advertiser as likeable (70%) and would rather prefer the products of the advertiser against other products in the same price and quality segments (43%).
  • The advertising recall of such promotional items ranks significantly above print and TV advertising: 75% can recall the advertiser without assistance compared to 49% for TV and 24% for print advertising.
